Sarah x2

This is my good friend Sarah. I know. We were destined to be best friends. (she hates this picture) she is really purdy!!

She turned 35 last Monday and so I thought I would get us a designated driver. :) Because, when I turn 35, I probably won't want to remember it....

We have a lot in common, besides the fact that both our names are Sarah, she is a dental hygienist also, we both LOVE antique stores, we both have kids, we both love 70's sitcoms, pedicures and wine and we both relate to eachother on a whole other level. We even finish eachother sentences! She has been a really great friend to me. I love her and adore her. I think everyone needs a Sarah in their life. :0)

This is us outside of Barbacoa. Quite possibly our favorite hangout.

Bown Crossing. The 2nd snow of the year.

Bad Bad blurry photo. Camera, you suck. :)

The Naughty List

Ok... Is it bad to threaten your child every other day with being on the naughty list and Santa not coming to see him? Can't you use that as a threat year round?!

Tee hee heee.

Today: he is on the half and half list.

Christmas Partay!

Friday night Ryan invited me to his American Family Insurance Christmas party. I agreed to go. (He paid me) :) It was at Cool Hand Lukes (A steakhouse that plays country music non-friggin stop) So I just drank A LOT....We had dinner and drinks, took some fun pics, then went to the Regional Director of American Family Insurance's home in Eagle. Beautiful home might I add.

Ryan happens to work with a lot of really great other insurance agents who have great wives and husbands that I have become close with over time, so it was really nice to see them all and have grown up time and grown up conversation. Last time I saw all these people was at the Orlando trip that American Family sent all of their great agents and their spouses on in June. Which was also fun. So far I have been on 3 trips with Ryan and American Family and he has a Cancun one coming up in April or May that I must attend. I have always wanted to go to Cancun.

At the house, there was a white elephant exchange, games, HUNDREDS of deserts, wine, beer and hard liquor up the wazooo. Downstairs was Bunco and Catch Phrase and upstairs was dedicated to RockBand and American Idol on the WII. Which one do you think I participated in?

This is Ryan, I, Dave and Nancy. Nancy and Dave are great friends of ours. This is at Cool Hand Luke's.

We are cute, it's ok to admit it. :) except Ryan got caught off guard and forgot to smile.

This one is cool because I have flames on my face. Us being silly around the fire pit.

Group Photo. Pete, his wife Twila, Me, Ryan, Nancy and Dave. (Other American Family Agents)

Wait a sec... Is he yawning while I am singing?!
Rockband. "You want me to sing to Spice girls?!"
Ryan and I singing Tainted Love. What a perfect song. ;)

Me singing and dancing to the Spice Girls, something I thought I would never do. :)

Teef and Giggles!

This is mine beautiful cousin Lisa at her first dental visit in 10 years and she came to see ME! Yes, Me!! I am SOOO lucky!

I felt like she was my 4 year old going to the dentist for the first time. I'm in my room taking photos of her left and right.

Not only do I get to live with her but I now get to clean her teeth and fill her cavities. :)

I love her so much and am so very proud of her, today while she was at the office for her visit we were laughing so damn hard I was getting teary eyed. It brought back A LOT of very fun memories I have with this woman. I lub her lots! :)

Here are some pictures for ya'll to enjoy!!

This is her sticking her tongue out at me.... not nice Lis!

Yes, a stinkin TV on the ceiling. When I went to the damn dentist centuries ago, I got to listen to the AM radio for god sake and could only have silver in my teeth. My how times have changed!

This is me cleanin her pearly whites.

Open wide seester!

Smile like you mean it!

My child atleast has manners.....

Ok, I fell off the planet for awhile but I'm back.... I have been busy doing all sorts of things...

Anyhoo.... this post is about my child. Weird I know, but when you have one as cute as mine you can't help it.

The other day we were in the store and he politely asks this older WOMAN.

"Ummm, excuse me sir, may I have a quarter?"

I looked at her, then at him and said "Honey, you don't ask strangers for quarters."

She looked at me laughing and said, "Well atleast he is polite."

Haha. In my head I was thinking, you don't ask strangers for quarters, you ask for 100 dollar bills!! :o)

My Letter to the Editor

To the editor:

I have been a Bronco fan for as long as I can remember. Going to BSU games at age 11 and ALWAYS having a positive experience.

On Nov. 15, I atteneded the BSU/UofI game with my father and my friend Meghan. My parents reside in Genesee so it is a fun trip to make when the Broncos play in Moscow.

Walking through the Kibbie Dome parking lot, I can not tell you how many times Bronco families, young children and many other adults minding their own business were harassed by nearly EVERY vandal fan that walked by. It was embarassing. Yelling the most socially unacceptable things in front of young children, flipping BSU fans off and wearing F-U-B-S-U shirts.

Why has this 'rivalry' turned into such a negative thing? It doesn't matter where the game is played, Boise or Moscow. The vandal fans have NO respect none. It is sad.

The #9 ranked Boise State Broncos are a class act and so are their fans. I encourage the vandal fans to try something new. Try respecting the opponent you are playing. Remember there are children and families that will never forget the crude things that were said to them while they were up there to cheer for their favorite college football team, the Boise State Broncos. If you are a vandal fan, you should be ashamed.

Go Broncos!

Sarah Pogue, Boise ID

P.S. (This is not in the letter) I wanted to use naughty language and say how I really feel but I didn't because I am not a logger or a vandal fan. But, seriously... I could NOT believe the stuff I saw! What a shit hole and we still kicked their ASS!!!
